P.S. to the previous post

As I posted the last message, I realized I forgot to mention a couple of things.

As you noticed, the previous post/welcome message only appeared after a whole bunch of photos. Well, it's actually quite typical of Rob and me (EM). I wanted to start the blog off in a nice logical way and write welcome and then a nice summary of years 2005-8 before we did anything else, but as with many of my wonderful plans, other things got in the way and I didn't really do it. So in the end Rob went ahead and started posting. Then I realized I'd better hurry up with this typing thing.

So typical of me and Rob, I have good ideas, but Rob is the one that makes things happen around here. One of the many reasons for loving him.

Second comment is to our sub heading to the blog ("or, You're stepping on my dress, my love"). It's actually a tribute to our dear Spanish friend Adela, who is great at making us laugh. It's a famous fact that Rob and I call each other "my love", preferably very very often. No "honey", or "sweetie pie" for us, no thanks. But we realized maybe we were over using the phrase a bit when at our wedding Rob was standing on my gown, and I said "you're stepping on my dress, my love". Adela and some others saw it and later did an impersonation of my sweet little voice, nicely telling him to get (off) my clothes ().

But even after three years, we still call each other "my love" constantly. And for the record, we hear all the time from people that we look as though we just fell in love. Well, it's true, we do feel that way still.

Was that too sugary? Sorry, we'll try to post some more masculine stories in the future as well. Maybe stories about motorcycles or farts, we've got a few good ones up our sleeve... TBC

Motorcycle? Do you have a motorcycle? Joe has one and loves it.
